The fans have had varying verdicts regarding the relationship between Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his superstar recording artist girlfriend Taylor Swift.
While most supporters — especially the Swifties — have been nothing but supportive of this high-profile union, there are more than a few folks out there who believe that Swift has impacted Kelce’s career in a negative manner.
Kelce’s best friend, Aric Jones, is having none of that. Kelce and Jones go way back. These two have been buddies since they were in kindergarten in Cleveland Heights. At this point, there’s no denying that Jones knows Kelce all too well. In his opinion, Jones believes Swift has been nothing but good for his best buddy.
“Taylor’s great. Taylor’s her own woman. And like, if Taylor wants to participate with us on theme nights, of course, we welcome it,” Jones said as he spoke about Swift’s impact on his clothing line, Homebred Legends, via Melissa Minton of Page Six.
“But at the end of the day, just having her there and having her presence there is awesome. She’s there to cheer on her boyfriend and hang out with us and, to be quite honest, that’s enough.”

Jones has had a chance to get to know Swift well in the one year-plus that she has been dating Kelce. During that time, Jones has seen what type of impact the “Karma” singer has had on Kelce — both on a personal level and on his career.
