"Shocking: Survey Unveils NFL Players Who Are Devoted to Taylor Swift—and Those Who Despise Her!"

The league loves the publicity the pop singer gives the sport. The  pushed its broadcasting network partners to promote Swift’s movie, “Taylor Swift: The Era Tours,” during the 2023 season. 

The Athletic  to find out how league players feel about Swift’s presence around the sport. Most approve of Swift hanging with the Chiefs, with 72.5% believing she’s a positive force for the NFL. 

Not all are impressed with Swift, as 4.9% think her visibility is bad for football. Some don’t think she moves the needle either way, with 22.5 percent voting that her presence is neither negative nor positive.

The Athletic quoted a player who suggested money was the reason most support the added publicity Swift brings.

“I think it’s been positive for the league,” one player said. “I think that at the end of the day, it’s a business and you need to get as many eyes on it as possible. And she brings a lot of eyes, so, you know, if that increases the salary cap, I don’t think anybody’s gonna be too mad about that one.”

Not all are thinking about money. One player was concerned about Swift getting more airtime than the people participating in the sport, saying the singer has “unnecessary coverage” during games.

Regardless of player feelings, Swift appears here to stay in the NFL as long as she stays in a relationship with Kelce.
