Jimmy Carter Turns 100! The Longest-Living President Achieves Historic Milestone

Jimmy Carter has officially become the world’s longest-living president after attaining a historic milestone.

The former US President just celebrated his 100th birthday, making him the oldest president to date. He cemented himself in history as the oldest living ex-leader and longest-living president in US history, just one year after entering hospice care.

Carter took office in the year 1977 and served one term until 1981 when he ended up getting defeated by the former Republican President Ronald Reagen.

He succeeded him during the Iran hostage crisis but despite this being a short stint, he ended up making a huge impact on global audiences to date.

His trailblazing thoughts regarding climate change and his massive work regarding charity, not to mention his great contribution to solar farms that power half of the town, are just some of the former leader’s mega accomplishments.

For generations, many have appreciated his great work and humble heart, which is why he is still loved and cherished by many Americans around the globe today.

Social media was full of nothing but praise for the country’s hero and many sent out warm wishes on this grand occasion including those who are still in power today and those who got the chance to work with him during his era.
