Travis Kelce's stance on Taylor Swift attending every Chiefs game was revealed in a recently viral clip.

Despite the absence of his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, from recent NFL games that he’s playing inKansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce says he doesn’t need her to be there all the time.

Kelce returned to form in a strong display over the divisional rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday – all while Swift wasn’t in attendance for the second week in a row.

But in a resurfaced clip from 2016, Kelce laid out his expectations for whoever he’s dating when it comes to attendance at his games.

In the clip, Travis tells WhoSay, ‘If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games.’

‘I mean, there’s 8 home games, 8 away games, plus playoffs,’ Kelce added at a time where the NFL schedule was just 16 games long.

If Travis Kelce's feelings from 2016 haven't changed, he doesn't expect Taylor Swift to be at every game that he and the Kansas City Chiefs are taking part in

Kelce added that this expectation wasn’t just for people he was dating, saying, ‘I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game.’

Swift did show her face at the first two games of the season – both in Kansas City – before passing on Sunday Night Football in Atlanta and then this past week’s game in Los Angeles.

While he doesn’t need his boo to be there for every single game, Kelce said that he would want them supporting him all along the way.

‘I need her to cheer when we’re doing awesome, just to make sure that that look is being presented to everyone,’ Kelce said.

Swift’s got that energy in spades, as evidenced by the multiple games she was at last season – with the cameras often catching her cheering in the luxury suites at Arrowhead Stadium and elsewhere.

But it’s been a bit of a slow start this year for Kelce as he struggled to pick up yards and catches in the first three games of the season. That changed on Sunday, when Kelce led the Chiefs with seven catches on nine targets for 89 yards.

Kelce recorded his 917th reception in red and white within the first half. The feat broke Tony Gonzalez’s record of 916 catches.

The tight end will hope to keep the momentum going with a Monday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints.
