Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has more than 95 million followers on X and, as of Sept. 26, her account was active.
Swift made her last X post in late June, when she wished Prince William, who attended her Eras Tour show with two of his children, a happy birthday.
Still, a Sept. 25 Facebook post claimed that X owner Elon Musk had banished her from the social media site.
“Elon Musk silences Taylor Swift: Shocking ban wipes out 1 million followers and costs her a staggering $72 million!” the post said.

This post is unfounded. Swift’s account hasn’t been suspended, nor did we find any credible evidence, such as news reports, that Musk banned her.
