And as she made her way into Amsterdam for the pH๏τo shoot, the 21-year-old model had one request: a poffertjespan.

A poffertjespan is the dutch word for a pan that makes poffertjes, which are essentially mini pancakes sprinkled in powdered sugar.

‘I always ask hair & make-up people in New York, when you go to Holland, bring me back a poffertjespan. They always forget. So I got one now,’ she told the fashion bible.

The treats could be seen on set in a behind the scenes video posted by Vogue Netherlands.

The busy model only had 12 hours to spend in Amsterdam for the pH๏τo shoot due to her demanding schedule.

At the time of the interview and pH๏τo shoot, Gigi was in the middle of a heavy promotional schedule for her Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid collaboration collection, which she wears a jacket from on the cover.

Her Dutch-born mother Yolanda was unable to join Gigi, born Jelena Noura Hadid, on the trip back to her homeland.

Yolanda did post the cover on her Instagram page with the caption, ‘So proud of all that you do and the person that you are my love.’
